This pattern was love at first sight and I ordered it right away when the shop had it. The only thing that I did was change the pink and bright blue color into a country red and blue color so it fits better in my home.

I had a wonderfully fantastic mailday when my RR arrived home safely on Tuesday. This has travelled inland to 4 cities over 3 states and took a flight to South Carolina, USA before coming home sweet home. The journey began on January 2011 and it came home before its due date in October 2011

A scissors fob

A friend of mine presented me angelic scissors which I love very much and use every day while stitching. The only thing missing was a small fob to prevent my favorite accessories from escaping. To create it I chose small flowers from “Summer Garden” design and added my initials to the back side.

Definitely you know these words – they are the beginning of Oscar Wilde’s “Nightingale and Rose” fairy-tale. You may consider it mysterious, but I was being haunted by them until I cross-stitched the “Rose Sampler” design from LHN!
