I wish to remember the rules to all the members

They are:
post and comment in English;
use labels;
post only LHN and CCN photos;
max photo width of 500 pixels (link it to a bigger one);
respect netiquette;
use your signature at every post (I'll create it for you the first time you post);
don't format the text (don't use special colors, fonts of other things);
put the blog logo into your blog with the link to this blog.

Really simple, aren't they?
So, please, respect them.
Thanks,

It is called Winter's Eve and I did it on28ct evenweave with the CC and DMC colors. I used yellow Balger blending filament for the moon and stars.

A few 2009 LHN finishes!!

I loved this LHN series!!! Made with specified Crescent Color flosses on 32 ct flax linen.
B Sampler was one of the first LHN finishes I had at the beach this summer. Here is sits nestled in my shell basket..
I made this LHN design into a cute little pillow...There are covered buttons on the back of the pillow! I hope everyone enjoyed making their favorite LHN designs throughout 2009 like I did~~ Happy stitching everyone!!!

The Library and Frappuccino WIPs

Hi all this is my first post. I have enjoyed seeing all your stitching.

This is my first LHN Frappuccino. It is stitched on a Silkweaver Solo which doesn't have a colour name.
The second one I am working on is The Library done on 32 count Sugar Cane Crush - Stitches & Spice. I love how this is looking.

Season of Plenty

Designer: Little House Needleworks
Fabric: 28 ct. cream Lugana (stitched over one)
Threads: DMC

My First Ornament wip

I started my first ornament, an LHN treat from the JCS 2009 Special Ornament Issue (Pg 30), titled "Winter Sampler."

I am using a "scrap" of Platinum Jubilee , as well as the charted WDW floss: dandelion stem, joshua tree, roasted chestnut, toasted marshmallow, and wild berries, all from my stash.

I am going to finish it in a flat ornament style. I will share it with everyone when it is ready to hang.

Winter's Eve WIP 2

Here is my progress today, as I only had the roof done yesterday.

Tonight I finished the house, windows and front door. I stitched them with Icicles by WDW which is white with a hint of blue.
Then, I took out the start of snow and will stitch it with Icicles, too. I hope to have it finished tomorrow.
I have another one I need to do for our annual Christmas party in the EGA guild.
Thanks for looking and as always God Bless your stitching fingers.

I Am So Happy...

... to be joining you all, as I have been a follower in awe of everyone's beautiful projects and finishes. My name is Karyn and I am a 46 year old wife and mother from Southern New England, and I have been cross stitching since May of this year. I am learning as I go and, like all of you I have fallen in love with samplers and especially LHN and CCN.

Here is my first LHN finish, all it needs is a good pressing and framing, which will be done in the next few weeks, and I will show the finished product as soon as it is ready to hang. In the meantime here is my first LHN finish "Colonial Homes"

Thanks again for letting me join :)

Winter's Eve

Believe it or not this is Winter's Eve by Country Cottage Needleworks.
It can be found in the 2006 Christmas Ornaments magazine, page 46.I have the tree, moon, and sheep done. I also have 1/2 of the house done. I used Blue Jay, for the outline ofthe house. I used white WDW with a faint touch of blue for the inside of the house. I plan to put yellow blending filamentin the moon, also. I used DMC colors for the rest.
Hopefully, tomorrow night I will have it finished and it will go on the tree this Christmas. My goal is to get it stitched by the 1st of Dec.
Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment ~I appreciate it so much.
God Bless,

Hello stitchers,
I've changed the header photos taking them from the finishes posted by our stitchers.
The first picture on the left is Acorn Hill stitched by Amanda, in the center a cute small set stitched by Linda, and Needlebook (of Traveling Stitcher) stitched by Margit on the right.
Hope you like it.
