Snowy Pines

Here is my completed “Snowy Pines” which I loved stitching, I finished it with brown and green checked fabric to back and brown ribbon and metal buttons….only 2 more to go to catch up!!

Red House Finished

Here is my finished “Red House in Winter”, I loved stitching this design, I think it is my favourite so far. I backed it with red “christmassy” fabric and finished it with ribbon hanger fixed by buttons. For the house I used DMC variegated thread.

Two “Pretties” Completed

I finally managed to complete the stitching and finishing on “Pear Tree” & “He’s A Flake”. Both are stitched in the recommended DMC threads my choice of evenweave.

My “Fa La La” Finish

Here is my LHN “Fa La La” finish, I stitched this piece on 32c Murano Ivory and intend to stitch them all on 32c. I used Six Strand Sweet Threads instead of the recommended DMC ones, and omitted the beads on the design for stitches, I finished it as a hanging cushion style ornament with a dark red bead trim.

LHN Paper Whites

LHN “Paper Whites” which I stitched on Moss 28c Jobelan with the recommended DMC threads. I backed it with checked fabric shown and finished as a pillow with tassels. I did slightly adapt the design by only doing the leaves border top and bottom and just doing a line of stitches down the side.

Finished Stitching...

My Traveling Stitcher peices and what a joy they were to stitch...I could not put them down, the colours are just so earth and vibrant. I am going to make a stitching wallet and needlebook eventually but need to find my perfect fabric.
