Herbal Tea complets the serie

My lastest LHN finish:
Herbal Tea for the Coffee & Tea SAL.
I've decided to cut off the external border
and changed the threads into solids.

Now the serie is complete!
I have to quilt them.

Mayflower Landing progress

I believe this to be my second time posting on this blog. I fell in love with Mayflower Landing as soon as I saw it. Here is my progress so far...
I am using a 28 ct Light Mocha linen which it called for 32ct Putty I believe. I wanted it a little larger so I went with the 28 and I picked light mocha b/c it was available - lol. However, I am using all the called-for floss. Funny thing is that I was expecting a coral-like appearance (based on the photo), but surprisingly the colors are more mauve to rose which is fine by me. It's turning out beautifully, I must say so myself. Thanks for taking a gander at the goods.

More eyecandy - Ladybug Ladybug

I am digging up some old photos since I am sorting out my flickr account. Keep finding some LHN pieces that I did before I joined this blog so I thought I would share them until I am up to date.

This is a piece I did for an Exchange over on SBEBB back in 2007. This was my first LHN piece and my first mattress pincushion. I love how this one turned out and will definitely stitch it again some day for myself.

Curly Q Ewe WIP

Here she is with part of her ewe!
I had to take out all of the ewe's faceand stitch it back in with a darker color. She is coming along nicely and I hope to get the ewe done next before I stitch the flowers in the skirt.
I still have a lot to do.
Thanks for looking! Appreciate it!
God Bless,

A set of smalls

I made this cute little set of a mattress pincushion and a scissor fob for a friend as a PIF gift about a year ago. I think it turned out very well. I wrapped a ribbon through the sides and made a bow at the top for decoration.

Scissor fob front

I used a small portion of Little House Needleworks 'Wool Needlebook and Scissor Fob' stitched on 36ct Lakeside Linens 'Vintage Pear'
