Pear Tree

My second finished for 2010 was The Pear Tree.

I used 14 count and backed it with a green fabric.

What wonderful ornament designs.

Not really finished, as I plan to use the ornaments to make a quilt.

Two “Pretties” Completed

I finally managed to complete the stitching and finishing on “Pear Tree” & “He’s A Flake”. Both are stitched in the recommended DMC threads my choice of evenweave.

Pear Tree

I working away on this second ornament.

Not one of my favorites but I am

determined to finish it.

I had to replace, by way of the

Evil Frog all of the outside

edges of the pears.

I have also replaced the leaves

when I changed the color.

So far I have used over

dyed threads.

The fabric is one I had and I

don't know the name but

it is a 28 count.

Fa La La, Pear Tree

I finally finished my Fa La La ornament.
I stitched it on a golden color fabric with sparkles.
I put a gold bead in the lantern, decided not to stitch
the girls faces and made all the words in white.
It showed up the best.
I also changed the colors of the girls dresses.
So . . . it is finished ~ one down and 10 1/2 to go.

Not a favorite one but I am making my self finish it.
I changed the colors to variegated shades and used a piece of fabric I had that is light beige and a 32 ct.
