I've completed this but not without a bit of a disappointment. I had stitsched a different green on the middle tree without realizing until its too late. Yet, I choose not to frog, for now.
From the 'Once Upon A Time Series', I've choosen 'Hope' for an exchange with either a LNH/CCN theme and finished it into a pillow measuring 9" x 11" on a 32ct Belfast white linen. Currently work in progress is the Travelling Stitcher on Lambswool 32ct linen. Thanks to Veronica for having me here. Its a joy to be able to share my LHN stitching here.
A while back I took part in the sal on this blog for the traveling stitcher, I finished it back in April '09 but for some reason I never posted the finished piece. So I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you all now
Best wishes for the year 2010 to you all. I made a good start with a beginning of The Stitcher's Travelling Case. I hope to finish it in a few weeks. I decided to use a fabric I got in an exchange, from a fellow stitcher. The matching fabric looks gorgeous when finished as a wallet, I think. But I also may decide to finish it as a box. Anyway, I'll show, when ready!
I stitched a variation of the "Traveling stitcher" and created a little needlebook. It was a present for a stitching friend, so I stitched on the back side the first letters of her name.
Details and pictures of the inside you can see here on my blog.
I'm excited to finally be able to share some of my LHN/CCN finishes with you all. I have been a silent follower for too long! LOL. Here are some of my favorite finishes.....
